Founder & Chief Executive Officer
With more than 40 years of experience in the IT industry, Jones is a life-long entrepreneur. Driven to create new levels of efficiency surrounding today’s explosive data growth and the people tasked with managing it, he’s dedicated to Alchemi’s mission to holistically address insider threats and data resilience. Jones previously led corporate development at Herndon, Virginia-based ViON Corporation, a pioneering cloud service provider that offered enterprise data center solutions for the government and commercial businesses. Jones is a former member of the U.S. Marine Corps and Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Trustees of San Miguel School, a middle school for underprivileged Latino boys. He earned a degree in economics from the University of Maryland.
Founder & Chief Technology Officer
As the founder and CTO of Alchemi Data Management, Sims has spearheaded numerous data management, storage and security solutions during an IT career that spans more than three decades. Bringing a powerful mix of technical expertise and executive management experience, he leads Alchemi’s R&D teams and the company’s effort to offer the most robust enterprise solutions centered on compliance, resilience and security. Sims most recently served as President and CEO of Austin, Texas-based CitadelTek and Crossroads Systems. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Colorado State University and attended Harvard Business School.
Chief Financial Officer (fractional)
A long-time CFO within the IT sector, Crane leads Alchemi Data Management’s financial management. A fractional CFO, she also most recently serves as CFO of an Austin, Texas-based data analytics and business intelligence firm. From 2005 to 2018, Crane served in various roles at Crossroads Systems, including financial controller, director of finance and CFO. She is a CPA and holds a degree in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
Vice President of Sales
Leading successful go-to-marketing strategies for numerous innovators, Rioux brings decades of sales leadership expertise with a proven track record of driving significant revenue growth. Following a lengthy career at EMC where he served as director of global enterprise cloud sales, Rioux most recently served as vice president of the sales for the east region at Druva and he also held other top positions at Commvault, and Code 42 Software. He earned a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering technology from Central Connecticut State University and a master’s degree and MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Vice President of Solutions
Bringing more than 20 years of experience in technical sales engineering, leadership and solutions architecture, Cordero brings notable technical expertise. He previously held lead technical positions at SafeliShare, Watershed IP Law, Druva, Code 42, Atempo and Syncsort. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and a doctorate in Neurosciences from Rutgers University. Cordero also conducted post-doctoral studies at Yale University.
Vice President of Corporate Development
Serving as a top technology executive in the United States and Canada for the last 25+ years, Tannous offers a unique mixture of engineering, marketing and sales experience. He is a long-time strategic advisor for C-suites with extensive experience in business development for companies looking to create valuable collaborations to service discerning organizations such as federal and state governments. Having co-authored and authored papers covering topics such as cybersecurity and IoT issues for major industry consortiums, Tannous holds a degree in systems engineering from George Mason University.
